Superhighways and our Datawise London partnership are interested in ‘data journeys’: the ways in which people start to engage with and explore data, whether internal or external data and the online and offline tools they use to do this.

We’d like to ask you about your motivations for using and working with data. As well as the challenges that may have shaped your learning.

The information you give us will help us better understand how to support small charities and community organisations to make use of data. And not just us, but other supportive organisations such as funders or infrastructure bodies.

We are offering a contribution to your organisation to cover your time when participating in the research. These are £75 for attending a workshop or £50 for a remote interview. Further information below.

How do I claim the contribution?

Superhighways has set up a co-design expenses budget to make a contribution to cover your time participating in the data journeys research.

You can claim £75 to cover your attendance at a Data Journeys roundtable (workshop) and £50 for a remote interview.

Please raise an invoice from your organisation to Superhighways as soon as you can after the roundtable or interview, with description "Data journeys research workshop / interview (delete as appropriate) expenses, July (change month as appropriate) 2022" and send to Jacky Fung , copying in Sorrel Parsons

If your organisation needs to charge VAT, then please add on top of the £75 or £50 allocation.

Please note the expenses are for your organisation.

If you have arranged to participate in the research in your own time, you will need to send us authorisation from your organisation's CEO before we can pay your expenses.
