Superhighways is moving into a new stage, and we want to share what this means for the organisations we work with.
The funding environment around us has shifted, and like many charities, we’re adapting.
Part of this means growing the parts of our work that generate income, such as consultancy projects and tailored training, so we can continue offering meaningful digital, data and tech support to the voluntary and community sector.
Our commitment remains the same
Although some things are changing behind the scenes, our purpose hasn’t.
For over 25 years, we’ve worked side by side with community groups across London, helping them build confidence with digital tools, understand their data and improve the systems they depend on.
That mission continues.
You can expect the same values, the same approachable team and the same focus on practical, achievable support.
How our services will look for now
As we adjust to a smaller team capacity, we’ll be delivering support in a slightly different way. Some of our direct one‑to‑one help will be reduced while we secure new funding.
We’ll be concentrating our funded time on grassroots and equalities organisations, while ensuring others have some guidance or a clear next step.
You’ll still be able to access:
- monthly free bookable advice sessions
- signposting to tools, resources – including step by step guides and partners
- lighter‑touch advice
- opportunities to ask questions and get direction
We’re grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund and the Royal Borough of Kingston for enabling us to continue to provide free direct training and advice.
Tech support
For our Tech Support members, your membership will be unaffected by these changes, and you’ll continue receiving the same high‑quality support that you're used to.
Finding the right kind of support

Expanded consultancy and training
We’re putting more energy into our consultancy and training services, which will enable us to offer more in depth, tailored support. These services are designed for organisations that need focused help with areas such as:
- creating effective digital systems to support more reliable service delivery
- strengthening data collection and analysis to evidence need and demonstrate impact
- developing Power BI dashboards to shape your services
- using Microsoft 365 or other cloud tools to streamline day‑to‑day tasks
- navigating digital transformation changes to help staff adapt to transitions
- building staff confidence to use digital, data and tech tools effectively
- choosing and implementing CRMs to improve tracking and reporting
- building simple websites to strengthen your visibility
- working out as an organisation how to effectively and safely use AI
Our team’s experience comes from years of working hands‑on with small charities and community groups, so we understand what works in real‑world environments with limited time, budgets and capacity.

Reinvesting in local communities
Your engagement with our paid services will support more than just your own team. It will enable us to reinvest in training, resources and one‑to‑one help that small charities and community groups rely on.
By choosing to work with us, you’ll be contributing to a more resilient sector where smaller organisations can operate more effectively, collaborate more easily and serve their communities with greater impact.
Looking ahead together
We’re grateful to everyone who continues to be part of our journey... whether you’ve attended training, asked us a quick question, partnered with us on a project or simply shared our resources with others.
This transition is an important step in making sure we can keep supporting the sector for the long term.
We remain dedicated to strengthening digital confidence, data skills and tech foundations across London’s voluntary and community organisations.
Thank you for staying with us as we evolve. We’re here, we’re committed, and we’ll keep doing everything we can to help.
