Storify - closed as a free platform in May  2018 and we've been hunting for a similar tool for a while and were excited to discover a great alternative - Wakelet at the NTC conference. 

It's been created by a UK start up and you can use it to bring together social media posts and web links to curate an event or campaign - there's an app too, so you can create direct from your smart phone. 

We've tested it for the recent VCSSCamp 8 we co-organised - it's easy to use, and you can also upload images directly (not a feature of Storify). However - a top tip would be to save regularly as you build your story, so you don't lose it!
