Devices for Kingston's residents on low incomes

From time to time we get devices donated by local people and businesses or via the National Devicebank. If you are a charity or a community group delivering services in Kingston, and know that clients or community members are experiencing digital exclusion because they don't have a device, please get in touch with us via info@superhighways.org.uk to see if we have one available to gift.

Devices could include:

  • Smartphones: powerful pocket-sized computers
  • Tablets: similar to a smartphone but with a larger screen. Excellent for reading and watching video.
  • Laptops: more powerful and flexible. Different operating systems are available, the main ones are Windows, macOS and Chrome OS. Chromebooks running Chrome OS are often the most affordable devices for people who want to access the internet for email, visiting websites and online shopping.
