We've recently been working with RM Partners and their Community Grants programme 2025/26 grantees from across north west and south west London to run NHS app information sessions at in person community events raising awareness of cancer signs and symptoms.
From October 2025 to March 2026 we visited 8 community events to deliver a presentation raising awareness of the NHS app. One to one support was also provided and a promotional video created with Cantonese translations. However, language remained a barrier for some, but the 'Manage health services for others' feature was particularly useful for people to learn about.
Recent changes to the app
The NHS app has been undergoing a series of changes over the last few months, taking on board feedback from users and aligning with the ambitions of the NHS 10 year plan.
Watch the video below to see what's changed and find out further details on the NHS website here.
If you have Auto update switched on, these updates will have started to appear for you already. If not, you will be prompted to update your app from March 2026 going forwards.
