In February and March 2019, Superhighways offered a new practical digital leadership programme of training and advice for leaders of charities and community organisations across London.
With digital no longer an add-on or optional to the way charities and community organisations are run, board members and CEOs face some tough decisions. Resources are tight and it’s hard to know what to prioritise. It’s also hard to make sound strategic choices when digital isn’t your day job.
CEOs, trustees and senior managers joined one of our thought-provoking series of workshops or training to explore how small charity leaders can develop their organisation’s digital capability within the framework of the newly launched Charity Digital Code of Practice.
Superhighways’ partnered with London Plus, The Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) and National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA) on the new programme, extending reach to local communities throughout London and across the UK. The programme was funded by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
Training and resources included:
- Digital Leadership 101 workshop for trustees and CEOs
- On-site trustee board training sessions
- One-off strategic advice for CEOs or board members
- Digital Leadership 101 video series
- Small charity digital transformation success stories
- Dowloadable and shareable templates and resources including our Digital Leadership Conversation Starter Toolkit
We'll be adding further case studies and resources to share over summer of 2019.
